Micah 4:1

Micah 4:1
“In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.

John 4:23-24, "But the hour is coming, and now is, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. “

I wish I could transport you back in time to the early church so you could attend 45 minutes or so of a worship service, because I think the experience would change you forever. As you observed the believers devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, to Prayer , and to praising God ( Acts 2:42-47) , I think you would say, "Wow, listen to how they speak to God! He seems so real to them! They seem to have such intimacy, such freedom, and such power!" In those few minutes, you would witness worship in the early church, and you would see how the Holy Spirit manifested the intimacy and awesomeness of God’s presence to the believers as they praised and worshiped Him. Then, I think you would say, "I wish I could experience that too!" The truth is that you can, if you are willing to look at praise and worship as a door way to a deeper relationship with the Lord.

Many people think that praise and worship is only singing songs at church, but it is so much more! It is life changing experience that opens our hearts to a willingness to exalt God and yield to his will. Worship is an expression of love and awe to the God who gives us more than we deserve. Whether you express your worship by singing, playing music, dancing or in some other way, remember that you are called to worship God with your every action, every day of your life. God is holy, loving, and worthy of all our worship and devotion. "Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.” (Psalm 145:3 )

Praise and worship is probably the most important aspect of the Christian walk. For it is through praise and worship that we as Christians draw near to God. When we praise God, His presence comes near, and in His presence all our true glory can be released. We cannot create this environment of praise completely on our own. That's why Christ gave us His Spirit. Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5) In our own strength we can do nothing. When we abide in Christ and remain joined to Him as the branch is joined to the vine, we can do anything He wants us to do. Including building a relationship with our loving Father that we can feel secure in.

Living a life of praise is not only the most enjoyable way to live, but it’s also one of the most powerful ways to change your life. Praise isn’t like the caboose that just follows you around and only happens when you have just been blessed by the Lord. It’s more like the engine of a train . Praise makes things happen. Colossians 2:7 says ;“Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. “ In other words, your faith isn’t complete without praise.

There is an inseparable link between our praise and the manifest presence of God. And If we start praising God in the middle of our problems, our problems will shrink so much that we’ll hardly remember to bring them to God! We’ll be so busy praising Him and thanking Him for His blessings that our problems will be an afterthought.

Praise is something we can do anytime, anywhere. As we learn to exercise our personal praise ministry, we can create "islands of Eden" around us wherever we go.

If you feel that your life is one of despair , hopelessness, anger... Then begin to praise the Lord and see His power chance away those feelings and fill your life with His love.
